GOSHEN, Ind. — Goshen College Men’s Basketball is looking to turn the program around following a 2022-2023 season in which the team went 3-25.
Head Coach Kyle Capps now guides his squad into year two holding the clipboard, and notes that some points of the season may be difficult due to a fresh roster.
In total, nine new players have joined the team, either as transfers or as first-years.
Only five members of the 2022-2023 team have returned, although one of those returners, Judah Simfukwae, feels that this actually benefits the team.
Simfukwae says that with little disparity between ages, it’s become easier for the team to bond together, even in the early stages of the season.
The GC Men’s Basketball team gets their season underway on Oct. 27 against Madonna University at a Grace College Invitational.
