GOSHEN, Ind. — April is the month to spread awareness on Child Abuse Prevention. Child and Parent services have brought awareness by giving away blue pinwheel gardens.
These pinwheel gardens are now all over Elkhart County with the count currently over 400 gardens. Anna Groff, a board member for CAPS, talks about the importance of these gardens and what they’re trying to achieve.
Sam Householder communications manager at the Elkhart Public Library will let us know how the library has partnered up with CAPS to help the community.
Child and Parent services are giving away supplies for the gardens for free. You can find more information on the non-profit at childandparentservices.org
