If you’re okay with a short drive, then look no further than Fashion Farm in Ligonier, a must add stop to any fall fun adventure.
Fashion Farm Pumpkin FantasyLand consists of pumpkin, gourd, and squash displays featuring US Presidents, and other well known characters.
The idea for Pumpkin FantasyLand came in 1972, by founder, Charlie Pumpkin, when he created the Peanuts Character Snoopy out of Gourds. Now, his pumpkin creations live on with his daughter, and current owner of Pumpkin FantasyLand, Patty.
Patty enjoys carrying on her father’s legacy and bringing joy to customers each year through the October tradition.
Many customers come every year to enjoy the pumpkin creations. The McCauley family from Middlebury Indiana makes the trek down to Ligonier, as a family tradition.
Pumpkin FantasyLand has different pumpkin characters and themes every year.
Families enjoy going through the Pumpkin FantasyLand, seeing the new creations the staff comes up with.
Seeing almost 20,000 families and school groups in their single month of being open, Pumpkin FantasyLand has fun for all age groups.
Family and staff also enjoy fall themed snacks on their adventure at Pumpkin FantasyLand. Pumpkin FantasyLand added a new attraction to their fall fun.
Open until October 31, Fashion Farm is still encouraging people to come on out for hayrides, the pumpkin fantasyland, and their 16 foot slide. Reporting for Globe-News, I’m Amelia Turnbull.
