Hosted by Dante Stanton, this week’s episode of the Globe Sports Corner is the first to be filmed in our brand new state-of-the-art studios!
After a year-long hiatus, we are back and hope you will join us every other week for stories and interviews covering our Maple Leaf athletics.
On this week’s show, Globe Sports takes a look at the highly-ranked men’s and women’s Cross country teams and sits down with a variety of players and coaches in order to get the inside scoop. One aspect of change for the upcoming season includes not only having fresh legs out on the course but also a fresh mindset coming into the new season with high expectations. Following a look at the Maple Leaf’s Cross Country squads, Globe Sports sits down with Goshen College Athletic Director Erica Albertein in order to discuss the coming athletic season, and what changes are in store for GC athletes.
Also, Globe reporter Liam Morris provides an in-depth look at the COVID-19 situation on campus, and how it’s set to affect GC athletics in the coming year.
Finally, the Globe Sports Corner wraps up with a preview of every athletic event for the following week.
