GOSHEN, Ind. — I’m With Her is building off the success of their first album with their recent release “Wild and Clear and Blue.” We’ve been playing the lead single “Ancient Light” on The Globe for a while.

Last week, during the Breakfast Blend, Trisha, a former Globe DJ who helps us fundraise throughout the membership drive, laughed when Ancient Light played and admitted that she woke up with the song running through her head.

“Ancient Light” reminds me of their last big single, “Call My Name,” which won a Grammy. The trio of Sara Watkins (Nickel Creek), Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O’Donovan (Crooked Still), continues writing songs that I can only describe as “smooth.”

If you forgot what “Call My Name” sounds like, I’d highly recommend going back to it. I’m With Her has consistently written great songs, and their covers are great. If you’ve been listening to The Globe a lot you may have heard their cover of “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter that we’ve been playing.

In “Ancient Light,” their three voices blend effortlessly into soaring harmonies, singing about the past, things that are gone, and moving on. “No more cryin’ // I’m not gonna put up a fight // When I get there // I’ll be swimmin’ in the ancient light.”

I’m With Her will be playing at Goshen College on Wednesday June 11 at 7:30. Ticket information can be found at goshen.universitytickets.com
