GOSHEN, Ind. — Less than a year removed from college Henrique Eichenberger found himself at a crossroads in regards to his relationship with soccer.

The Brazilian born former Goshen College mens soccer captain eventually decided that he wanted to make a Semi-Professional soccer team.

All of this led up to the birth of Goshen City FC.

Although it’s been less than a year since Goshen City FCs conception the team is now about 3 weeks away from their first game on April 8th.

Eichenberger chose Tyler Born to fill the teams managerial position.

Born is a former teammate of Eichenberger at Goshen College and was a state champion player at Goshen High School.
