GOSHEN, Ind. — Year two is around halfway complete for GC Track & Field Coach Sean Foulkes, who, along with Distance Coach, Rustin Nyce, has led the program to nine NAIA National qualifiers.

The path set in place upon being hired is still in the beginning stages, but Coach Foulkes is confident in its growth, with 2024’s incoming recruitment class trending toward one of the highest in program history.

One of the many bright spots for Goshen College this season has been first-year Danial “Breezy” Murphy, who burst out the gate by setting a program record.

His confidence in Coach Foulkes and the program as a whole has only grown throughout the season, and he feels that even bigger and better things are on the way.

Coach Foulkes is most proud of how parts of the team outside their strong history of distance running are coming together, and he now feels GC is a more “complete” team.

The track & field teams are in action next on Friday, February 16th for day one of the Crossroads League Indoor Championships.
