GOSHEN, Ind. — As a heatwave sweeps the Midwest, Goshen College athletes are doing their best to keep up the competition without breaking too much of a sweat.
Athletic staff and trainers are coordinating with teams to ensure they can still find ways to practice without putting their players in any danger.
Athletics will continue on, but with NAIA mandated safety precautions in place to ensure that the weather doesn’t prove to much of a risk.
The training staff also has tips for anyone, whether they be 18 or 85, on staying cool and staying safe when in an overheated environment.
