GOSHEN, Ind. — First-year softball pitcher, Camryn Barrows, has started off her collegiate career hot, going undefeated in her first four starts.
Barrows also earned the title of Crossroads League Player of the Week, with her earned-run-average current sitting at 0.81, according to goleafs.net.
Barrows currently leads the Maple Leafs in innings pitched, strikeouts, ERA and opposing batting average.
The freshman from California has adjusted well to life at GC, something she credits to her teammates, who have already become like family.
Off the mound, players and coaches say Barrows has a “goofy” side and loves interacting with her teammates and having fun.
As of this post, the Goshen College softball team is 11-3 on the season.
