GOSHEN, Ind. On this week’s Globe Track of the Week, I got the pleasure to focus on the southern crooner. Kashus Culpepper. It’s one of his latest singles released on August 22, 2025. One that when I first heard on the radio I definitely bobbed my head to and maybe did a little dance.

This single is Believe. It’s going to be part of his January 2026 album “Act I”. This will be Culpepper’s debut album and let me tell you, just by listening to Believe I’m already excited.

I’m someone who not only likes listening to the blend of instruments with the voice of the artist, but lyrics speak to me a lot also. During an interview Culpepper gave a bit of background information on why he wrote this single. He says he was able to write this song with his music idol Foy Vance. He also said “It’s about my faith, and how no matter how dark life gets, I really believe there are angels around me, making sure I don’t fall too far into the darkness”

I think after reading this quote from the interview and relistening to the song I can tell that it does tell a story of how life is full of surprises and sometimes the ones you trust are the ones that will end up surprising you the most.

Kashus Culpepper is currently on tour and he’ll be coming to Grand Rapids, Michigan on December 6. If that date doesn’t work for you he’ll swing on back to Indiana. He’ll be in Bloomington, and if you want more information tour date you can find it at Kashusculpepper.com
