Rob Sanders is a redshirt sophomore basketball player at Goshen College. Last year, he tore his achilles tendon a few games into the season. Sanders talks about how he stayed mentally prepared while he was in recovery. He relied on his Faith and support from his family, friends, and teammates to get him through his recovery. Sanders’ recovery process was very smooth, he was back on the court after four months. While he was injured he stayed connected in other ways by learning more basketball strategies and techniques. Sanders’ and his team have a lot going for them this year, and they continue to stay grounded in each other and the game.
