Ignition Music Garage in downtown Goshen recently celebrated the 16th annual Record Store Day. It’s a yearly event recognized around the world that aims to support small and independent brick and mortar record stores. It features new and limited vinyl releases from all kinds of artists, with people in Goshen lining up outside Ignition as early as 4 am to try and get their hands on the latest from their favorite artists.
Ignition also celebrated with live music in the evening, with support going to the organization Trees for Goshen, a group that aims to increase the number of trees planted in the city. This was the largest attendance that Ignition’s co-owner Julie Hershberger could remember, and she considered the day to be an overall huge success.
