Lotus has made its return to Goshen.
The band that got its start at Goshen College in the late 90’s had a homecoming show hosted at the Goshen Theater on February 7th.
The group was started by Steve Clemens, Luke Miller, Mike Rempel, Andy Parada and Joel Jimenez and has grown a fanbase that stretches across the globe.
Lotus is known for their extravagant light shows that add a whole new element to their already freestyle form of music.
It has been over a decade since the band has made an appearance in the city of Goshen, making this show that much more special.
Before the doors opened on show night, lines of fans took over the sidewalks of downtown Goshen, ready for their chance to come in, get seated, shop for merch, and get grooving to the music.
Members of the community who are long time fans, and even some first timers packed the theater to dance the night away with Lotus’ all time favorite tracks, and even some that they dug out of their archives from the days at GC.
Needless to say, it was a very successful show for everyone. A warm welcome home for Lotus, an exciting opportunity for community members and fans to catch their favorite band on a smaller stage, and a spotlight on the Goshen Theater.
All thanks to An Evening With Lotus, the show for a band that has traveled the world to make a homecoming appearance where everything started.
