TEN MONTHS OF RENOVATION COMPLETE AS UNION BUILDING REOPENS TO PUBLIC

After ten months of renovation, the Union building at Goshen College reopened on Sept. 2, featuring a brand new cafe and an art gallery — both of which are open to the public.

The project manager, Glenn Gilbert, has received positive feedback from community members thus far.“The vision was that this would become a center for students but also a center for community, and it would bring community and students together,” Gilbert said.

The resident director and executive chef, Jeremy Corson, echoed Gilbert’s words. Corson said that he wants the remodel to “be a place that has good memories for students and faculty [and] for the community.”
