Wilma grew up with Minnesota Public Radio as a regular part of her life, took a broadcasting class at GC in 1986, started A Women's Circle at WVPE in 1987, took it to WGCS in 1991, and has been here ever since. A Women's Circle highlights women musicians from varied musical genres who are not in the mainstream music world. The show also strives to expose and eliminate the many different "-isms" in the world, and to heighten awareness in various peace and justice issues, as well as promote local performances.
